How long does it take to finish a project?

Get the answer in the next episode of Consulting Conversations from our Director of Consulting Hank Harris. Watch it now!

Well, I think the uh the average project is probably a matter of months, and you can typically think of three stages to a project.

So, the first stage is going to be some form of, it's commonly called discovery. But it's just a term for the consultant to get his or her arms around the situation to understand what's going on. You know do the backgrounding if you will.

Second stage would be some analysis and planning, generically.

And, then the third stage would be, you know, delivery and implementation of whatever's going on.

So, if you think of that simplistically, you're probably going to need at least a month for each one of those phases. So, I think on average 90 to 120 days is probably a, you know, a range to think of.

I would love to hear from any private business hunt owner in North Carolina that thinks we could be of some help to them in understanding how their business gets better or where it might go in the future.
